Controls:
Walk around with WASD or the Arrow Keys, and look around with the mouse.
Press [Esc] to pause and press it again on the pause screen to exit
Right click when an art piece's name comes up to view it
A/D or Left/Right to switch perspective for art pieces with multiple viewing points
Left click to exit art view mode
NOTE: progressing via exiting the museum requires walking out through the "exit" doorway. Due to time constraints, it's not actually marked as "EXIT" as the tooltip suggests! Instead, look for the only doorway that doesn't lead into another room, that isn't roped off.
Diversifiers used:
- This belongs in a museum
Use public domain artworks and assets from galleries, libraries, and museums prominently in your game (e.g. see The Procession to Calvary). - Soundscape
Create an immersive atmosphere through use of ambient sounds rather than music. - #256fes
3D models can use no more than 256 triangles and a 256x256 texture - In a liminal space
The game is set in some kind of eerie empty space, like an abandoned mall or a vacant hotel.
We didn't use the bubble theme because we got very excited about the specific combination of diversifiers we ended up using and "Bubble" didn't mesh with it at all.
Known issues:
- Occasionally the game will crash between runs, due to a semi-known issue we didn't have time to fix (game fails to find an art piece to display between explorations for some reason)
- Don't rub up against the walls, especially around the corners towards the hallways, too aggressively, there's a small collision issue that will crash the game!
